"Busy or a Busybody"
We all get caught up in the beauty of life, and if there is one thing I have learned attraction is the number one distraction. It seems to be that what we need to do is what we don't do, but yet we are overworked, overwhelmed and exhausted. Why? We get busy being busybodies when we need to be doing the Lord's business. We save the left overs for Him because we are just to tired at the end of our day.
Are you breaking your back to make a buck? Or are you believing in the power of the Resurrected Christ and building His Kingdom? I totally agree that we need to work and provide for our families. The key is that we must balance our time and our resources. As a dad of three daughters and a wife working on her master's degree I understand busy, but I have a choice to make, will I allow my busyness to build up the Kingdom or will I bow down to my desires and wants? See Psalm 37:4-5
You can spend every minute of every hour of everyday believing in Jesus, good, even the devil does the same thing. Or,
You can spend every minute of every hour of everyday being busy for God, but not obedient to God. Who is calling the shots? Do you work for you or do you work for Jesus?
Who's your boss?
